Lisanne Schwarz: From time to time people ask me how and where I learned to draw like this, a question I honestly cannot answer. I think it wasnt a process of learning how to draw because in this short period of life that I have lived so far I didnt get to practice alot. Most of the time I was caught up thinking about other things until I just felt like drawing something. Ive always been jealous of my older sister who used to draw these amazing manga-like characters. Once I realized that my parents were both artists(each in a very different way) as well, I was convinced that something must be wrong with me. So I sat down took one of my most favourite fantasy books 'Fairies' by Alan Lee&Brian Froud and drew one of their created characters. I believe that was the start of everything.
